How do we get to Fodhdhoo Island?

You'll be greeted at Malé airport and escorted by private speedboat directly to the hotel — around 55 minutes from Malé.

What happens when we arrive?

Guests are welcomed with a flower garland and fresh coconut on arrival, and our team takes care of everything from there.

Do you accept extra luggage?

Domestic transfers accept 23 kg of luggage per person. Each extra kg is paid by guests at $1 per kg.

Do I need to pay to submit a booking request?

No — no payment is required to submit a booking request. Fill in your details and we'll confirm your booking within 24 hours.

Can I book a specific property?

Yes — choose Sabba Summer Suite, Sabba Beach Suite, or Sabba Beach Villa & Spa when you book, or leave it open and we'll help you pick.

Do we need special footwear?

Please bring crocs or water shoes, plus hats for kids — the island is walkable but sun and reef-safe footwear help a lot.

What about sun protection?

Don't forget sunglasses and sun protection — Fodhdhoo sits right on the equator's edge.

Should we bring surf boards?

If you have surf boards with you, please inform us in advance so we can plan the transfer.

Do you provide toiletries?

Please bring your own shower gel and shampoo, or purchase them locally for $1-2.

What about medication?

Please bring your own medicine, especially specific types — a doctor is available on the island if needed.

Can we wear swimwear around the island?

Fodhdhoo is a local island, so please dress respectfully (not in bikinis) when walking through public areas — our team will guide you to the private bikini beach zones.
